Who We Are

The Ohio Institute of Allied Health (OIAH) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational facility established in 2010 after purchasing the Ohio Academy of Holistic Health which was established in 1996. The Ohio Academy of Holistic Health was formerly called The Ohio Academy of Hypnotherapy which was located in Beavercreek, Ohio and was established in 1987. OIAH offers educational programs in Holistic Health, Allied Health and Nursing Education. The core philosophy of holism is integrated into all programs. Today, holistic practitioners are utilized in medical, dental and psychological health care delivery as well as establishing their own private practices. The Institute plays a vital role in the integration of traditional mainstream and holistic medicines.

We are committed to the promotion of choice in health care for all individuals and in serving as a bridge between holistic and traditional healing philosophies. This is achieved by providing quality education programs.

Purpose

Ohio Institute of Allied Health, inc., established in 1987, is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) educational facility which offers programs and workshops in Holistic Health Care Modalities. Holistic practictioners today may specialize in a variety of Health Care areas. Holistic therapists are being utilized in medical, dental, and psychological health care delivery in all areas of the country as well as establishing their own private practices.

It is the purpose of the Ohio Institute of Allied Health, inc. to provide the students and health care professionals in the community with a comprehensive choice of educational options. This will allow them to enhance and further the use of holistic therapies for their clients. The school also encourages alumni to seek continuing education and research in their own private practices.

Goals

The Ohio Institute of Allied Health strives to provide a quality education for all students by following a set of core values. These core values focus on holistic education and guide the institution through the changing times and help to shape the Mission, Vision, and Goals.

Accreditation

The Ohio Institute of Allied Health is nationally accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. Their mission is to assure quality and integrity in career and technical education. In addition, OIAH works tirelessly to ensure each program meets industry standards set forth by the State of Ohio, and the National Healthcareer Association following regulatory agencies:
